She's standing at the window again when he asks his question, about a metre or so from the sill. Still on tiptoes, she turns once in a slow circle, the wan sunlight creating shadows as she moves.

Then her eyes spy her glass and she flits over to it, picking it up with both hands and facing him with a guileless expression.

"Shall we have another?"
